VANCOUVER, BC – Jan. 13, 2017 – Samsung, an innovative leader in consumer electronics, mobile devices and enterprise solutions, has rolled out a 200-retail location endless aisle project with iQmetrix, a leading provider of interactive retail and retail management solutions.
The project involves implementing self-serve endless aisle kiosks in third-party retail locations to open up a new channel for Samsung to showcase and sell their premium product lines such as Samsung Gear and connected home products. With facing difficult challenges of limited space, cost of inventory, and rapidly changing product technology, iQmetrix’s endless aisle solution is helping Samsung enable retailers to carry their full product line and tell Samsung’s brand story consistently.
“We needed to build a seamless connection through all touchpoints of the shopping experience,” says Emery Skolfield, VP of Omnichannel, Samsung. “The consumer experience for our endless aisle initiative was built on simplicity and the idea was that we wanted to open access to additional products that might not have existed at physical retail.”

The project is a win-win for Samsung and the third-party retailers as these retailers are able to transact through their own point-of-sale system which increases their bottom line. Through API integrations with software providers and distribution partners, products are shipped directly to the customer’s desired location. “Enterprise customers are interested in providing access to their entire product line,” says Ted Brodheim, Vice President of Vertical Business at Samsung Electronics. “The Endless Aisle solution developed by iQmetrix partnered with Samsung technology, is a foundation which allows retailers to deliver a customer facing solution that will meet their unique business objectives.”
