WINNIPEG, MB - Aug. 17, 2015 - iQmetrix was pleased to present its second Females in Technology Scholarship to 2015 recipient Esther Peters (pictured above, right) on Friday, Aug. 14.
Esther, who is enrolled as a 1st-year Computer Science student at the University of Manitoba, won the $1,000 scholarship by writing an essay answering the question: Why I Am Studying Computer Science. Read Esther’s winning essay

Founded in 2013, iQmetrix FIT is devoted to seeking opportunities to support women in technology and assisting in (or creating) opportunities to promote females in technology. The group is also committed to promoting Computer Science to all youth. iQmetrix FIT has seven members (4 women; 3 men) out of iQmetrix’s Winnipeg office.
