COVID-19: To Our iQmetrix Community

There’s a lot going on in the world right now.

COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) is a topic that is on everyone’s mind. We know you’re being overwhelmed with news about COVID-19, and we know it’s a lot right now.

While we don’t want to add to the noise, we do want to let our community know what we’re doing amongst this uncertainty.

To our clients

We understand that your business needs may change during this time and that your operations are likely undergoing a significant impact. We are here to support you.

That’s why we’ve compiled helpful resources that can aid in your business navigating this quickly changing situation. Many of you have been faced with difficult decisions to close stores. For those who can and are remaining open, we’ve created some resources to assist you, such as:

  • Webinar: Maintaining the Client Relationship
  • One-Pager: Maximize Your At-Home Resource
  • Webinar: Completing Sales With Manual Payments

These resources are designed to help your sales reps with productivity while in-store traffic may be slow, provide back-office best practices your managers can focus on, and offer initiatives your team can consider that will help you be creative and generate revenue during this time.

We’re also offering tools such as myRQ and Appointments free until July 2020. myRQ is a mobile app that let’s you check in on store metrics from anywhere, so you can keep a pulse on what’s happening and inform your staff of important information as it happens. Appointments is a module in RQ that enables your customers to book appointments with you for things like device repairs or activations, allowing you to safely control and predict the number of customers in your stores.

This is in an effort to provide you as many tools necessary to navigate this changing time in retail and support your teams and customers. Please talk to your client manager for more details on these programs.

We have also changed up the format of Bootcamp, our intensive RQ training event, which was scheduled to take place later in April. We have refunded all ticket purchases and are working on creating a free virtual event that will still bring you the same exceptional, educational content in a safe environment and will be sharing more details on this soon.

As the situation changes by the hour, we will continue to evolve our response to it and will make regular updates on social, on the Retail Resources page, and through your client manager.

To our employees

In the meantime, as COVID-19 spreads across the globe, many businesses have moved their teams from their desks to their couches for remote work, including our own.

We took early and proactive measures to ensure the health and safety of our team: We’re committed to being both responsive and responsible, navigating these times with everyone’s safety in mind. We closed our offices on March 16 and suspended all business and non-essential travel. We are grateful that we have the capability to enable our teams to work remote so that they can continue to support themselves, our clients, and this community.

As a result, things at iQmetrix are looking just a bit different now. Chats, social calls, and meetings via Zoom have increased, and our co-workers now include toddlers, partners in sweatpants eating cereal, and the occasional pitter-patter of four-legged creatures. Our teams have created new slack channels to help stay connected, and we’re seeing scores of motivation, tips, and coping mechanisms being shared during an obviously stressful time. Dogs now make regular appearances in meetings. There’s been a spike of activity in the #mentalhealth and #cuteanimals Slack channels.

All of this to say: In a time where everything is weird and nothing feels normal, there is, at least, some positive things happening around us, and we are especially practicing gratitude for those moments in such an uncertain time.

On behalf of the Senior Leadership Group, and all of us at iQmetrix, be safe, stay connected, and take care of one another.
