iQmetrix Volunteering with Habitat for Humanity over Holidays in All Its Office Cities

VANCOUVER, BC -- Dec. 17, 2012 -- iQmetrix teams from its offices in Vancouver, Regina, Winnipeg, and Charlotte, N.C. (Davidson) are volunteering with Habitat for Humanity affiliates in each location for a North American build day this holiday season. As avid community supporters, iQmetrix teams are excited to be on sites in Canada and the U.S. to help hard-working, low-income families achieve their dreams of home ownership.

iQmetrix is a leading provider of retail management solutions for the North American wireless industry. iQmetrix is led by an executive team that believes in giving back to the communities in which they live and work by supporting organizations like Habitat for Humanity.

Having built homes in New Orleans following hurricanes Katrina and Rita, the iQmetrix team decided to volunteer in its respective office locations as a team-building day –- allowing staff to get out of the office and make a difference in the local community.

The company also donated to the Habitat for Humanity affiliates with whom they are volunteering. The funds will help with the overall costs of materials to continue to build more homes. Families that move into Habitat homes pay an interest-free mortgage, allowing them to save money for their children’s education and escape the cycle of paying high rent for substandard housing.
