iQmetrix Launches POS and Retail Management Technology with Saskatchewan Liquor & Gaming Authority
Vancouver, BC—May 11, 2020
iQmetrix is thrilled to announce that it has launched a partnership with Saskatchewan Liquor & Gaming Authority (SLGA), the main distributor and sole licensing agent for the sale of beverage alcohol in the province.
The SLGA is a Treasury Board Crown Corporation responsible for the distribution, control, and regulation of beverage alcohol in Saskatchewan. iQmetrix will be the underlying POS and retail management technology that provides a personalized shopper journey to elevate the retail experience for their customers.
SLGA operates 36 retail liquor stores of the approximately 700 liquor retailers located throughout Saskatchewan and required a software system that would enable a fluid, omnichannel experience, in and outside of stores, as well as help educate front-line associates to provide a more effective sales process.
Partnering with a home-grown product to support a local economy was also a key deciding-factor for the SLGA.

SLGA began a phased roll-out and all locations were up and running successfully as of May 3rd, 2020.
SLGA also engaged iQmetrix to build a new website with new technologies and capabilities, such as inventory availability functionality. This gave their customers the ability to see exactly what is in stock at a specific location.
This is particularly innovative given the current global pandemic. As COVID-19 has forced cities to enter lockdown and many retailers to limit the amount of customers in their stores at a time.
With the current COVID-19 pandemic, iQmetrix is also working closely to add additional functionality like Reserve Online, Pickup In-store (ROPIS) as well as Buy Online, Pickup In-store (BOPIS).
