VANCOUVER, BC – September 25, 2015 – iQmetrix President and CEO Christopher Krywulak has been named 2015 EY Entrepreneur Of The Year (Pacific Region), in the “Business-to-business products and services” category.
“We are only here because of our people, and enough cannot be said about that,” said Christopher in his acceptance speech at the EY Pacific Awards Gala, Thursday night in Vancouver. Christopher also thanked his wife and family for their constant support.
This is Christopher’s first win as Entrepreneur Of The Year, although he has twice been a finalist: as 2010 EY Entrepreneur Of The Year (Pacific Region) and as 2001 EY Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award (Prairies Region).
Winners of the annual EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards are chosen by an independent panel of judges, who assess nominees based on a number of criteria, including: financial performance, vision, leadership, innovation, personal integrity and influence, and entrepreneurial spirit.
Christopher began his career as an entrepreneur in 1990, founding a successful wireless retail chain in his home province of Saskatchewan. He founded iQmetrix in 1999 with a vision for using metrics to drive retail sales performance and enhancing the customer experience. Today, he leads iQmetrix’s growth strategy, culture, product design and development, as well as R&D.
