Vancouver employees of iQmetrix joined counterparts in three other North American cities for a one-day Habitat for Humanity building blitz over the recent holidays.

Volunteer build groups in Regina, Winnipeg, and Charlotte, North Carolina, joined iQmetrix employees in Vancouver on the one-day volunteer build days in their home-towns. At the Habitat for Humanity Greater Vancouver build site in Burnaby, an employee group spent much of their day building drying racks for the HardiPlank siding, which will be painted and installed as the project heads toward completion in the next few months.

Jacquie Scarlett, a senior sales executive at iQmetrix in Vancouver, reports that the team had a great build day in spite of the cold, snowy weather. It was great to contribute to such a great cause and spend some quality time with co-workers. And we learned a lot about construction tools and how to use them.”

iQmetrix is a leading provider of retail management solutions for the North American wireless industry. The company is led by an executive team that believes in giving back to the community and has partnered with Habitat for Humanity in the past. IQmetrix employees were on the ground in New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina building Habitat for Humanity homes.
