   ***18,000 youth confirmed to attend the annual youth empowerment event organized by the international charity***

VANCOUVER, October 3, 2011 – iQmetrix is proud to be a Silver Sponsor of [We Day Vancouver](http://www.weday.com/event/vancouver), which will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Rogers Arena.

Organized by international charity and educational partner [Free The Children](http://www.freethechildren.com/), [We Day ](http://www.weday.com/)is a series of one-day youth empowerment events taking place in cities across Canada. We Day events pack stadiums full of young people to celebrate the accomplishments of their peers who are making a difference in their communities and around the world. We Day also brings social justice speakers and performers to inspire and empower youth to take action and help make a difference on issues important to them.

[Since the first We Day in 2007](http://www.weday.com/about/), over 160,000 people have attended We Day events across North America. ​“We Day has become the movement of our time,” writes Free The Children, ​“inspiring thousands of youth and building a community of young people dedicated to social change.”

“Our company is happy to support Free The Children because we feel the work they do to affect change at home and overseas aligns with our own corporate values,” says iQmetrix President and CEO Christopher Krywulak. ​“All corporations should contribute to community-building initiatives; we support events like We Day because we believe in reaching out, taking part and giving back.”

iQmetrix staff will be volunteering at We Day Vancouver (as well as at [We Day Winnipeg](http://www.weday.com/event/winnipeg) on November 23, 2011), helping out with the Honored Guest and Seating Teams.
