iQmetrix Volunteers, Donates to Local Food Banks

By Allan Pulga Dec 06, 2010

A number of employees from the iQmetrix Vancouver office volunteered at the CBC Vancouver broadcast headquarters on Friday, Dec. 3, answering phones and accepting donations for British Columbia Food Banks. The fundraising drive surpassed its goal of $400,000 to help the Food Banks this holiday season.

Some celebrity CBC personalities, including Peter Mansbridge (see above photo, with Collin Prior) and Jian Ghomeshi, came into the call centre to answer the phones and greet random donors. Allan Pulga even met one of his broadcast heroes, Ian Hanomansing, coming out of the elevator.

Kudos to the iQ staff who did their part to give back to the community!

As a company, iQmetrix donated $2,000 to the Vancouver Food Bank.
