Eliminate the Risk of Payroll Fraud
Directly integrated with RQ4, Biometric Security uses DigitalPersona fingerprint readers to capture the image of an employee’s fingerprint and accurately authenticate specific employees based on unique biometric features.This unique biometric identity is stored in RQ4, which ensures that users can only log in as themselves, comparing their reading to all registered fingerprints in the system helping them eliminate:
- “Buddy-punching”: the process of committing payroll fraud by employees giving their password to a co-worker to log them in when they are not at the store.
Increased Accountability and Reduced Costs
Fingerprints act like a digital password that cannot be reproduced, giving owners and managers the ability to track suspected fraudulent activity. By using and enforcing biometric authentication in RQ4, retailers gain the ability to prevent:
- Unauthorized discounts, refunds and manager overrides made to friends and family through lost, stolen or exchanged manager cards and passwords.
