iQmetrix Helping Cricket Agents' Profitability

iQmetrix participated in a recent WiBOC-sponsored workshop for Cricket agents in and around St. Louis, MO. The all-day workshop facilitated by Jonathan Bergman of Hire Well Now was well attended by Cricket agents looking for ways to increase profitability in an industry known for lower margins than their traditional postpaid cousins.  

Jonathan’s message was pretty simple: “Sell more stuff.” But it was the unique ways of doing exactly that, which Jonathan conveyed, that the agents found most appealing.

New England Verizon Agents Meet at Foxwoods Resort and Casino

The MGM Grand Hotel and Convention Center at Foxwoods played host to a recent New England Verizon meeting. Rising out of the Massachusetts countryside, the Foxwoods Resort and Casino is the largest casino in the world and Verizon’s regional executive, management, agents and partners were treated to two days of meetings with a bit of fun sandwiched in. After all, how could you not enjoy yourself at such a beautiful resort?   

AT&T Charity Golf Event for Boy Scouts of America

It would be difficult to find a nicer setting for AT&Ts Charity Golf Tournament than the spectacular Indian Wells Golf Resort in beautiful Palm Springs California.  Perfect weather in the mid-seventies, with the usual clear blue skies of the desert, met participants for this annual event.  AT&T teams up with the Boy Scouts every year to raise much needed funds for all of the great things the Boy Scouts have been doing for so many years, and this year was certainly no exception.    

iQwaldo visits New Orleans for AT&T Regional Event

AT&T recently held one of their regional Strategic Planning meetings at the beautiful Marriott Hotel and Convention Center in downtown New Orleans.

The city has made a great comeback, which can be felt in the welcoming hospitality of its residents. AT&T brought some key people together in “The Big Easy" and I was once again on hand.

The list of attendees included Steve Sitton the Southeast Regional President for AT&T as well as the entire management team for the region.

iQmetrix recently made a cash donation Network Mission Coffee House in downtown Denver, Colorado. The funds will be used to provide day-to-day necessities for the less fortunate in Denver’s inner city.

Founded by Jim Hicks nearly 10 years ago, Network Missions strives to provide a safe warm place for a cup of coffee, a game a chess or just a conversation with people who care.

Anyone who has ever had the pleasure of staying at any Gaylord property knows what we mean by a luxurious experience, and such was the case recently as Verizon Agents were treated to some down home hospitality deep in the heart of Texas. Indirect agents from the Central Texas region were hosted by Verizon for a two-day golf tournament and meetings.

iQmetrix participates in many worthy events every year, but few are as well attended or raise as much money for charity as the AT&T Golf Classic for the Boy Scouts. The 2011 event -- held once again at the prestigious Fiddler's Elbow in Bedminster, New Jersey -- raised more than $250,000 to help the Boy Scouts of America groom healthy, well-adjusted kids.

Trump Hotel Chicago Hosts Verizon Premium Retailers Event

Verizon Premium Retailers met in Chicago recently and once again iQmetrix was present.

Many iQmetrix customers attended the event and were treated to a live presentation of iQmetrix’s XQ Interactive Retail, the future of Wireless Retail. iQmetrix continues to set the bar of systems excellence and our relationships with Verizon customers are testament to our success in providing such systems.

More than 100 agents from across the region met to celebrate their successes and prepare for the future in the very competitive wireless retail industry.

It’s not all work and no play for me (iQwaldo) when on the road, and I was recently treated to a Detroit Tigers game with a couple of longtime friends and iQmetrix customers. 

John Campau and his wife Anne (left and center in above photo) from Comtronics treated Dean Leja from Cellular and More and me to choice seats for a recent Kansas City Royals game in Detroit. As the following photos show, seats at Tigers Stadium don’t get much better than these -– Row 1 behind the Tigers dugout.
