Vancouver

On June 17th, iQmetrix participated in the national event #PlaidForDad to support Prostate Cancer Canada. In honour of the upcoming Father’s Day, the Plaid for Dad campaign was created to raise awareness and funds to help protect the 1 in 8 men that endure prostate cancer. Staying true to our hipster, foodie roots, Vancouver iQer’s jumped all over the opportunity to break out their best duds and get together for a Plaid & Potluck lunch!  Click here to donate to and share the iQmetrix page.

Regina

The month of June is huge in iQRegina this year. Along with the other iQ offices, we have started our first annual SLICCE Days to bring awareness about SLICCE and our core values. Each week we will be hosting an event that will showcase each individual factor of SLICCE.image002.png

This past week was Lifestyle, so we asked iQers to step their way to success, and introduced a step challenge. During this competition, we asked iQers to record their steps, and send screenshots of their results for that day. With a whopping 22,103 steps in 24 hours, Susan Relke beat out the competition!

We are also gearing up for iQRegina’s Big Bike. Our office goal this year is to raise $5,000, and now that our team has been assembled, we have started fundraising! So far, we have two 50/50 draws, a hotdog and popcorn sale, a cake sale and a Taco in the Bag Sale all scheduled throughout the month to raise money for the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Winnipeg

The Winnipeg office has been in full on fundraising mode for the last two weeks. We have been raising money for our Big Bike team, all in support of the Heart & Stroke Foundation. We hosted a Bake Sale and Sundae Bar fundraiser last week, which we managed to raise just under $400 for our team. With a little help from our sponsorship committee, the iQWinnipeg Big Bike team has raised just over $1,600 and we’re hoping to hit $2,000 before race day on Friday!

Local Winnipeg iQer Laura Gross, led 20 of us through a paint night in the office this week. We had some pizza and wine to help get the creative juices flowing, and all ended up with uniquely beautiful paintings! We're already looking forward to the next event!!

Charlotte

The Professional Services Team Leads held their strategic planning meeting this week. The team is working on the next quarter’s goals as well as planning out the rest of the year. They all went to the Charlotte Exit Strategy to enjoy some escape the room thrills, where they had to work together on deciphering clues to beat the clock and get out of the room. A nice dinner at Vida Cantina in the heart of Charlotte’s EpiCenter topped off the night.

This week the office played host to the first of two Verizon Carrier specific trainings. With 19 clients in attendance, the Professional Services team has been working with the clients on getting the integration up and running. The group enjoyed a wonderful evening out on Lake Norman on a private yacht. Good conversation with great clients is the best way to break up a few days of training.
