E-Commerce technology has revolutionized consumer convenience and ushered in today’s more interactive, engaging shopping experiences. It offers online shoppers access to information through a variety of tools and channels, enabling them to make more informed purchase decisions. While the e-Commerce store has changed the game in many positive ways, there’s been a significant void in retailers’ ability to apply these revolutionary shopping elements to the brick-and-mortar store.

iQmetrix, a provider of retail management software, recently launched a suite of retail solutions focused on bringing elements of the online shopping experience into the physical store.

The solutions are designed to enable retailers to cater to today’s empowered consumers by providing an omni-channel experience: one that offers the information, convenience and user interface that consumers expect from online and mobile channels – all within the store.

The new iQmetrix suite includes:

XQ AppStream ? a consumer-facing application that displays a variety of mobile apps on an interactive touchscreen interface. Consumers can select an app to learn more about it and/or scan a QR code to download the app to their mobile devices while in the store.

XQ Browse for iPad ? a virtual product catalog that offers in-depth information on available devices, rate plans, accessories and feature add-ons via an in-store touchscreen display or handheld tablet. Now available for iPad, XQ Browse is designed to enable retailers to empower customers and staff with on-demand product information.

PocketRQ Inventory ? designed to allow retail staff to perform inventory counts more efficiently by scanning items in the back-of-house and checking stock availability while in the front-of-house. Sales associates quickly can check inventory stock for requested items while maintaining a constant presence on the sales floor.

The suite supports iQmetrix’s mission of developing “solutions that create an omni-channel shopping experience to empower retailers, while providing the consumer with a consistent shopping experience across online, mobile and in-store channels,” said Christopher Krywulak, President and CEO of iQmetrix. “These interactive solutions deliver a unique experience to the customer, and provide a flexible, streamlined and efficient workflow for retail staff – ultimately increasing ROI and customer loyalty.”
