The closing speaker for Day 2 at the 2014 iQmetrix Summit, Moneyball's Paul DePodesta, couldn't have been more appropriate at setting the stage for tonight's extraordinary Monday Night Party at Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres.
At tonight's party, sponsored by Phobio, Summit attendees were treated to infield, outfield and even dugout access to the Major League ballpark.
Attendees were treated to infield, outfield and even dugout access to Petco Park.
There were all kinds of great ballpark foods available: two kinds of tacos (pork carnitas and marinated chicken), nachos, beef sliders, veggie burgers, and bacon-wrapped hot dogs (with sauteed onions and jalapeño peppers - pictured above).
Activities abound, including a Phobio photo booth allowing you to create and print custom souvenir baseball cards, a batting cage with a live pitcher (letting you hit the ball into right field - and if you're good enough - into the right field stands), beanbag "cornhole" games, ping pong tables, more batting cages and - get this - a hot air ballon (tied down, but allowing you to ride it up a certain distance for an aerial view of the field).
The Summit is living up to iQmetrix's purpose of 'creating great experiences' tonight.
iQmetrix continues to raise the bar for its much anticipated Summit Monday Night Party. After speaking with a number of attendees, the company will have a tough time topping this one.
The Summit is definitely living up to iQmetrix's corporate purpose of "creating great experiences" tonight.
